Any activity carried out on road reserve must be notified to Inroads, as agent for Western Bay of Plenty District Council and the NZ Transport Agency. Inroads will arrange approval of the activity or negotiate changes with the applicant if required. Applications for activities on Local Roads may incur a cost of $50.00 to $250.00 depending on the complexity of the work involved. All work in the road corridor will also require that an approved Traffic Management Plan be submitted for acceptance prior to any activity starting. Forms can be emailed, faxed or posted to our address.
